Architects of Recovery
Recovering from addiction is recognized by us as one of the most difficult things a person can do. After spending months, years, or even decades being controlled by a substance, making the changes to live in sobriety is difficult, yet possible. We have developed the group "Architects of Recovery" to assist people who want additional support, coping skills and lifestyle changes to sustain sobriety and help prevent relapse. You are the architect of your recovery program. We are honored to help you build the foundations for your serenity and success in sobriety.
Contact Brian Valasek at (513) 345-0741 to discuss getting enrolled in this group.
Moving Beyond the Weight of Past Hurts
You and I have received many hurts from others on the past. Some of the times in which we were hurt by other people it was accidental – meaning that the person did not mean to hurt you but that was the final result. At other times, people have hurt you intentionally. Maybe they assaulted you verbally or physically, or maybe you could not live up to their expectations, or perhaps you have been bullied by someone else. Whether the hurt was accidental or intentional, the result was the same, you carry hurt, anger, and resentment toward that person. While you may feel justified in carrying these feelings, when you get right down to it, the only person you are hurting is yourself. Carrying resentments leads to higher blood pressure, increased risks of heart disease and stroke. Carrying resentment also leads to more anger, family and community problems (even with those who did not cause the hurt in the first place).
Do you want to get past the hurts and resentment and have lower levels of stress and anger? Restoring Hope Counseling & Coaching wants to help you with this. We have developed “Moving Beyond" to help you address the past hurts you have experienced. All you need is the desire to overcome past hurts.

Teens of Divorce
This group is designed to help teenagers (ages 12 to 18) process their emotions and experiences in the midst of their parents' divorce. The goals are to process and accept what has happened in the past, learn how to cope with the present, and most of all, how to prepare for the future after divorce. This group will also give teens an opportunity to be part of a community that knows and understands their situation. The cost is $20 per child.
